RK Reeves teamed with Accura Engineering to gather data on critical sanitary sewer infrastructure for the DeKalb County Watershed Management Department. Over 500 sanitary sewer manholes needed updates to invert elevations to populate the county’s GIS data to calibrate the County’s sanitary sewer hydraulic model. Accuracy of the manhole invert elevations was critical to assist in building an accurate model. RK Reeves team completed the job successfully, and during their field work reported several deficiencies in the sewer system to DeKalb County that could have prevented sanitary sewer spills.
